Luke Kottke Joined Laidlaw & Company (UK) Ltd. In 2011 and currently serves as Head of Capital Markets. Over his career in Capital Markets and Investment Banking, Mr. Kottke has been instrumental in raising over $10 billion of capital in several hundred equity and debt investment banking transactions. With a focus on, but not limited to the Healthcare and Technology sectors, he has been leveraging his strong relationships and entrepreneurial approach with buy-side investment firms across Wall Street. Mr. Kottke’s expertise in selling investment banking products such as IPOs, Secondaries/Follow-on Offerings, Registered Directs, PIPEs, and Private Placements has made him an invaluable resource to numerous banking clients. Prior to joining Laidlaw, Mr. Kottke served as Vice President on the Global Capital Markets desk at Rodman & Renshaw. Mr. Kottke began his career at Sonostar Capital Partners, a venture capital and private equity firm where he was an associate for 3 years. Mr. Kottke also worked at Merrill Lynch as a financial advisor where he earned his series 7 and 66 licenses. Outside of the firm, Mr. Kottke is involved in many charities and is a very active member of his community. Luke is a graduate of the University of Scranton and resides in New Jersey with his wife and three children.
